- The Hozuki clan and bloodline are Restricted to Kirigakure.

●Description
People born under the Hozuki bloodline are quickly identified as “liquid” or “jelly” people. This is because their entire bodies consist of a high content of H20, aka Water, combined with chakra. They are able to fully control their “transitional membrane”, which is similar to human skin, aside from the fact that this membrane is able to absorb large amounts of water as well as reach a solid state whenever the user chooses to with enough training. They also have the ability of regenerating any part of their body that has been lost, but the process is extremely slow, unless one has done enough training to accelerate it.

Appearance: Those who are born under the Hozuki bloodline are made entirely of water, therefore they range from the shades of light blue (female) to dark blue male). They are shiny and sometimes (depending on how thick their transitional membrane is) transparent. However, they can choose whether to stay in their original skin color (blue) or change it to resemble human skin color. Their body structure are also identical to those of humans, however there is a huge difference in internal organs and bones. They normally wear little clothing in order to take advantage of their “transitional membrane”. Females, for example, wear tank or tube tops and shorts. Males wear open jackets or button up shirts to expose their chest. Also, they are able to change the color of their hair to what ever they wish.

Nucleus:

Within their water filled bodies is a “nucleus”, which is about 8 cubic inches in size. This nucleus contains all their vital organs of a Hozuki, such as modifed versions of the human brain and heart. Within the nucleus, they are nucleoid protrusions (neural extensions) that spread out throught all points of the body. These protrutions help regulate 3 main life functions:

1. Chakra circulation which also contain chakra points
2. Internal water pressure stabilization
3. A minor nervous system

The protrusions are also located at the nose, eyes, mouth, and ears in order for the Hozuki to transimit sensory information to their nucleus. The "nucleus" itself is not stationary, meaning they are able to shift it in different areas of their body, but it is normally located in the same location as a human heart

Personalities: The Hozuki are very lively and adventurous, due to their deep desire to leave the island they have been trapped on for thousand of years (read history). They have deep respect for each other, since they all lived together on the same island under the same rules. Some, however, can be very aggressive, due to the fact that they are trained since young to compete in combating competitions. Some may also feel a little insecure because they look slightly different from their human counterparts.


●History
Evolution can be a very long process which is exactly how the Hozuki Bloodlimit came about. Thousands of years ago, there lived a nomad tribe called “The Sagasu”. They were constantly on the move, in search for food, shelter, and a better way of life. However, every location they would station themselves in would not satisfy. They wanted a perfect place to settle in, a flawless place, with endless food and materials to grant them their survival. Their greed kept them going and soon, they began drifting into the sea, in search of other bodies of land.

The Sagasu tribe would take months to build several boats in order to search for their paradise. As soon as all the labor was complete, they would begin their journey. The travel was exhausting for the tribe, for they were at sea for countless days and nights, searching for something they weren’t sure even existed. But the self-indulgence of the tribe was immense, and even if it meant losing some of their members on the way, they refused to turn back.

After months and months of searching, the tribe finally got sight of land. It was an island part of the Water Country, surrounded by clear blue water, evergreen trees filled with endless supplies of fruit, and sunny skies. The Sagasu tribe believed they had finally found their paradise; which they named Mukizu Island. Immediately, they removed themselves from their boats and made shelter. However, it wasn’t long before chaos would soon be the impact of their greed.

Just after two weeks of settlement; the island was struck by a tremendous storm. Violent lightning would set fire to the trees, scorching the entire island of its vegetation. By morning, the only thing that was left was the wreckage of their homes and dead bodies. In addition, the island was slowly being engulfed by water, soon to disappear under the sea.

The tribe was now well aware of the islands aggressive behavior and chose to leave at once. However, their boats would not allow them because they were destroyed during the storm. They were unable to make more because all the trees for wooden material were burned down from the fire. The Sagasu tribe was now trapped within the island. Something they once thought was their paradise was now their prison.

For the next ten thousand years, mutation would take place. The more the water level began to rise upon the island, the more the tribe would evolve and adapt to their moist surroundings. Slowly, their bones began dissolving in their bodies due to the lack of protein and calcium they consumed. The chakra circulating within them became greater in order to keep them standing on the little bit of land there was left. They became skilled at breathing underwater. Their skin became pale and permeable, which resulted in the water surrounding them being absorbed into their bodies. After so many years, the Sagasu tribe had transformed into something else…The Hozuki Bloodlimit.

While entrapped within the island, the Hozuki began discovering the chakra within their bodies. As a tradition, they began training their children from young, in order to participate in fighting competitions for entertainment, pride and strength. They mastered the water release as well as controlling their bodies to their advantage…

Recently, the Hozuki Bloodlimit was discovered by merchants accompanied by shinobi. Never had the shinobi laid eyes on strange people like the Hozuki. On the other hand, the Hozuki were well aware of the humans that discovered them. Even thought it has been several thousand years, the story of the Sagasu tribe never died. It was told and passed on through generations and generations, in order to describe the greed the Sagasu tribe had, and the punishment they received from it. The Hozuki were well aware of their former body structure and were willing to learn more about it by going along with the merchants and shinobi. This was the first time the Hozuki would be able to step foot outside of their island. While the young and vibrant members of the Hozuki were eager to leave, the elders stood, refusing to abandon their current home. Once everything was decided, the few members said their goodbyes and left, ready to face a world outside on their own…the world of a shinobi.


●Restrictions
* Dehydration:
Because the Hozuki are composed mainly water, they loose a certain amount of body mass when performing their various jutsus. This has been composed into a slot system. Every Hozuki starts off with 300 slots. Each jutsu they use (either from the Hozuki Bloodlimit or water releases that require the user to emit water from their body), takes away a certain number of slots. Once the Hozuki reaches 0 slots, they die. Jumping in a large body of water restores all their slots. It is suggested that the person drinks a certain amount of water before reaching 0 slots.

D Rank Jutsus: Uses up 5 slots
C Rank Jutsus: Uses up 15 slots
B Rank Jutsus: Uses up 25 slots
A rank Jutsus: Uses up 40 slots
S Rank Jutsus: Uses up 70 slots.

* Each Hozuki can only start off with a small sized Water Bottle Holding belt and 2 small sized water bottles. If they wish for a larger sized belt and bottles, they must buy them. New Hozuki members must either choose to get the Water Bottle Holding belt and the water bottles, or the beginner 15 slot pouch.

* All Hozuki must have the water release. All Hozuki cannot know/learn fire, ice, and lightning release jutsus of any kind (unless certain conditions are met.).

* The Hozuki do not have blood. This is due to the fact that during the course of their evolution, the water thinned out the blood in their former human bodies. Therefore, they are unable to do summons.

*Note:* It is not necessary to have “Hozuki” as a last name for your character. It is simply a name used to describe the blood limit, not a family name.

* Incapable of Going into the Chakra Gates.

Drawback: For every 20 slots over 400 slots the Hozuki has, the Hozuki member will be slower.
Description: As time progresses, the Hozuki member will be so used to using their jelly-like body to be able to control the concentration of their water mass. Since Hozuki members are practically incapable of getting buff, being made of water, this is basically their version of it. When a Hozuki member has gone into their clan's jutsu enough, they would be able to control the chakra in their body better, and increase the concentration of their water, thus increasing the total slots of their body, reaching farther than 300 without taking damage to one's self.

* B rank: 400 slots maximum
* A rank: 500 slots maximum
* S rank: 600 slots maximum

●Jutsus

Name: Atsui Usumaku (Transitional Membrane)
Rank: D, C, B, A
Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Handseals:
Description: During training, the user is capable of adjusting and altering their internal water pressure in their bodies. Doing so results in an increased density of their outer membrane. Chakra released from their nuclei protrusions allows water to be pressurized in a certain way underneath their transitional membrane thus resulting in the thickening and solidification of their skin. In order to switch from a higher rank of thickness to a lower, the user must decrease the amount of chakra released from their nuclei protrusions. Also, the user leaves their palms and the soles of their feet remain permeable (D ranked), thus allowing the usage of the water inside of them no matter what rank their in.

o D ranked: Very thin and moist layer of skin. This is the default layer of skin the Hozuki are normally in. Under this rank, the skin is most permeable, meaning they are able to absorb large amounts of water. Although they feel no physical pain, ninjutsu and genjutsu based attacks can affect them. Also, this skin is not suggested for harsh weather conditions. Exceedingly hot or cold weather can evaporate them or freeze them easily.

o C ranked: Under this rank, the transitional membrane is a similar thickness to that of the human skin. Can withstand any kind of weather conditions a human could. Since skin is more solidified, physical assaults on a Hozuki are more effective.

o B ranked: Under this rank, the water within their bodies is pressurized by chakra to the point in which it resembles a rock like thickness and texture. An Hozuki under this rank becomes stronger when landing physical attacks by half the rank of the attack they are using (a D rank punch gets an extra E rank damage added on). Speed is decreased by half a movement.

o A ranked: Under this rank, the water within their bodies are at the highest point of pressurization in which resembles a metal like thickness and texutre. An Hozuki under this rank becomes stronger when landing physical attacks by half the rank of the attack they are using. Speed is decreased by a full movement. Limbs are less prone to breaking. This state can only last for 3 posts before going back to D ranked thickness because it consumes a large amount of chakra.
Restrictions: Switching from ranks that are not next to each other takes 1 post (You cannot instantly switch from D rank thickness to B rank.). One can only switch their rank up or down one time per post.

Name: Mugen Korosu (Infinite Breath)

Description: Due to the evolution of the Sagasu Tribe, the Hozuki are able to breath underwater without the need to come up for oxygen. This may serve as an advantage for hiding from an opponent near bodies of water and surprise attack them. Remaining underwater is also a method of “relaxing” in order to become more energized.
Restrictions: Hozuki bloodlimit.

Name: Kaishin Shimasu (Regeneration)

Description: The Hozuki are capable of regenerating any part of their body that they wish. By pumping their chakra and mixing it with either water from near by, or from the rest of their body, the lost body part is grown back in a certain amount of time.
Restrictions: Must belong to the Hozuki Bloodlimit. User cannot grow additional limbs other than the ones that have been lost.

Name: Zerii Osaeru (Jelly Capture)

Description: The user does the Snake hand seal in order to gather enough chakra in their hand. Water is then created from their bodies and blended in to create a thick jelly like slug. Jelly slugs can range from different sizes. They can be large to entrap the opponent’s entire body or small only to entrap their legs depending on if there is a water source or not and how much chakra is used. The slug is capable of sensing where the opponent is allowing them to following them as long as the opponent is within 20 meters of the slug. Once the slug has gotten close enough, they leap onto the opponent attaching themselves to them. Because of their gooey texture, it is very difficult to detach from it.
Restrictions: Hozuki bloodlimit.

Name: Supaiku Tama (Spiked Ball)

Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Handseals:
Description: After performing the proper handseal, the user quickly shapes and forms a spiked ball from their blob of jelly. Once this is completed, the ball is hardened and a piece of jelly glob is attached underneath it. This serves as a chain in order to spin the spiked ball to attain enough momentum to strike an opponent with a deadly blow. If the user misses, they are able to retrieve the spiked ball back thanks to their “chain” and try again. The spiked ball will run out of chakra and have to be remade in 2 posts.
Restrictions: Hozuki bloodlimit.

Name: Jelly Clones (Zerii Bushin)

Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Handseals: Rabbit, Tiger, Dog
Description: The Hozuki quickly creates the three hand seals and creates a large glob of jelly. It is thrown on the ground and quickly takes the identical form of the owner, however without a nucleus. The only way of getting rid of them is by freezing them with ice jutsu or evaporating them with fire/lightning jutsu or waiting for them to run out of chakra. The clones are only able to do minor punches and kicks. The jelly clones can only regenerate and double if the remains end up in a water source, or, if extra chakra is added, they can form into two clones of half the size and density. They are completely destroyed by ice, fire, and lightning jutsu. The clone or the clones that have originated from the original clone will last 3 turns before turning into water no matter how many times it splits, as the original chakra will be divided and must run out eventually.
Restrictions: Hozuki Bloodlimit, user must have “C rank” Atsui Usumaku (Transitional Membrane).

Name: Spiked Body (Supaiku Shintai)

Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Handseals:
Description: When an opponent or weapon gets dangerously close, the user performs hand signs and then closes their fist and concentrates chakra all over their body. Immediately, sharp spikes are formed and hardened. The spikes can fatally injure an opponent, especially when they are ejected from the Hozuki’s body. However, injecting the spikes require a little bit short of C rank chakra to perform. If shooting the spikes slowly one at a time, only slightly more than D rank chakra is needed.
Restrictions: Hozuki Bloodlimit. Must know Transition Membrane “B rank” or above.

Name: Membrane Wires (Usumaku Harigane)
Rank: B
Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Handseals:
Description: The user pumps the water substance and chakra within them into their back and begin to form up to 8 tentacles each up to 10 feet long. Maximum denser depends on the current rank of the transitional membrane. Once this is done, the user can choose to use their tentacles for various situations. They can throw objects such as sharp rocks at an opponent. They can grapple and constrict an opponent as well. They can also help the user mobilize easier. The denser in transitional membrane comparison a tentacle is, the slower it becomes. Cannot make more than 8 tentacles. The longer and denser the tentacles, the more chakra required. The denser in transitional membrane comparison a tentacle is, the slower it becomes.

Name: Membrane Combination (Usumaku Kumiwaseru)

Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Handseals:
Description: The user performs the three hand seals and chooses which limb they want to transform. Then they focus chakra into the limb to change its membrane rank, while keeping the rest of the body constant. Example: Your upper body’s membrane can be A ranked and you can choose transform your legs into B ranked membrane. This way, you have a metal torso and faster legs. The difference in ranks of the membrane can only be one rank. For example, if a Hozuki member has S ranked upper membrane and C rank legs, the upper chest area would crush the legs, in the same kind of law, if the body was all C rank, and the arm was changed the A rank membrane, the arm would fall off before it could even make a move. This can still not be used on a Hozuki member’s palm. Sometimes balance can be greatly disrupted, like if one side’s rank is too low and the other side is too high, making one side heavy and one side light. Difference in membrane rank on one body could only be one rank, or else the combo would be unbalanced and it would usually cause the body parts to fall off or be crushed.

Name: Jelly Domination (Zerii Suru)

Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Handseals: Ram, Boar, Dragon, Hare, Horse, Hare, Dragon, Tiger, Horse, Hold Hare.
Description: Once the proper handseals are made, the Hozuki is able to melt their body into a puddle, granting them fast and easy movement. They slide towards the opponent and insert their body through any opening they can find. Once this is done, they spread themselves through the opponent’s body, taking control of their muscles, while the opponent’s stomach acid is neutralized with chakra, and the stomach becomes the temporary ‘storage’ place of the nucleus. While the victim is still able to comprehend everything that is happening, they are unable to take control of their own body. However, the Hozuki take a course of 3 to 6 seconds to enter the opponent’s body based on the side of the opening, the mouth takes about 4 seconds, and if they are attacked by a jutsu, they will be severely hurt and be forced outside of the body, if hit with a strong enough fire, ice, or lightning jutsu, they could potentially die. The Hozuki must leave the body in 2 posts or they will begin to loose body mass and eventually deteriorate within the opponents body. The Hozuki can only stay in the puddle form for a course of 1/2 a post, or else they will deteriorate to their death. During entry, jutsu that hits them will severely damage them.

Name: Water Absorption (Suton Mugamuchuu)

Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Handseals:
Description: The user is able to use their permeable skin to absorb water in order to increase their strength and size. In order to do this, there must be some form of water near by such as lakes, oceans, or even rain. The larger the body of water, the stronger the Hozuki will get. However, with so much water, the membrane becomes less durable, and in return for having more membrane and inner water to go through, the water of the Hozuki becomes much easier to damage with Evaporation, Freezing, and Conducting. In other words, they become more easier to damage with Fire, Ice, and Lightning Release jutsu. The nucleus in this form is, however, much harder to find. This thus makes the Hozuki immune to all small-area-focused jutsu unless the nucleus if clearly targeted. The Hozuki is immune to Taijutsu in the “B” and “A” rank levels of this form. C rank requires at least rain to use and B rank requires at least a small lake to use. A rank requires at least a large lake or ocean to work. In the B rank form of this jutsu, the nucleus is semi-visible, in the A rank form of this jutsu, the membrane is easily seen.

Name: Jiga Nami (Self Wave)

Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Handseals:
Description: The Hozuki forms a temporary bond with surrounding waterand then perform hand signs. They then become a 30 meter high 20 meters long and 7 meters thick wave. Unlike most waves formed in the water release, the Hozuki is actually inside it, giving them complete control. The Hozuki member is capable of controlling the wave to go as fast as a C rank taijutsu master and the Hozuki is also capable of making up to a 45 degree turn every 5 meters the wave travels. There is a large amount of water release condensed in the wave, which basically doubles the water's weight, so anything hit by the giant wave has a very high chance of being crushed under pure weight instead of drowning.

Name: Giant's Arm (Kujabaima)

Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Handseals:
Description: The Hozuki member first gathers chakra into the arm they wish to use for the jutsu, then performs the seals. After the seals are complete, water would rush into the arm in question, enlarging it to be the size of the user's body minus the head. At that point, depending on the user's class, the strength of the arm is defined. Every part of the body except the arm used in the jutsu becomes more vulnerable till the jutsu ends. Jutsu can last forever, but C rank chakra has to be consumed every turn after 2 turns of the jutsu first being used.
Restrictions: Hozuki Bloodlimit, Atsui Usumaku (Transitional Membrane) A rank.

Name: Terror Detach (Jiadiaola)

Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Handseals:
Description: Usually used for tricks and certain missions, the Hozuki user is able to behead himself or have someone behead him, and still use his head in a sense. This works by keeping the body at slightly above C rank Transitional Membrane when the head is beheaded. When the head gets beheaded, a thick but invisible string of chakra will still connect the head and body assuming the head is within 5 meters. The user is able to see and speak from the head as long as the head and body are within the said distance. They can also cut the connection at anytime. They can also wait for the head to leave the 5 meter radius, in which it will cut the connection automatically. Can be learned multiple times to increase the distance by 5 more meters for every C rank of training.
Restrictions: Hozuki Bloodlimit. Atsui Usumaku (Transitional Membrane) B rank.

Name: Great Defense Jelly (Dadang)

Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Handseals:
Description: After performing the handseals the hozuki will gather water around themselves until a giant 7 meters by 7 meters blob appears. This blob, linked to the Hozuki member's chakra, will block any attacks that come to the Hozuki member's way that is made with any kind of chakra, even if it came from behind, atop, below, or around, until it takes an A rank amount of damage. It is resistant and weak against certain things, and even if completely blown away by an explosion, the blob would form right up again till it takes the said amount of damage. Explosions can, however, create openings. The blob takes one rank more damage from lightning, fire, ice, and earth jutsu. It takes two ranks lower damage from water jutsu. It takes one rank lower damage from everything else

Name: Final Trust (Zuiuou)

Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Handseals:
Description: This jutsu is basically a huge Kamikaze explosion. The user performs a large amount of hand signs, usually with more than 300 slots of water in their bodies or a water source. Once the hand signs are performed, the user turns to pure water, so that only the nucleus is seen, then, all the exposed water within 20 meters (rivers, water vapor, lakes, and oceans) would be gathered around the nucleus. This process takes 3 seconds, after when it is finished, the user would basically be a nucleus in a humongous water ball. Then, based on the amount of water absorbed, a huge pulse of chakra would emit, and then the humongous water ball would explode into a huge explosion of fist-sized water drops. Each drop has the force of a hammer behind it, and the explosion will always be at least 30 meters in diameter (15 meters radius) unless there is little water vapor and such in the air (desert) and only exactly 300 slots in the Hozuki's body. After the explosion of hammer-like water droplets, the Hozuki's nucleus would hover in the air for a couple seconds, before falling to the ground. Any water coming in contact with the Hozuki's nucleus would be absorbed around it, even mud, usually killing off the Hozuki unless it lands in distilled water.

Name: Jelly Rubber (Hozjianzi)

Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Handseals:
Description: After performing the handseals a rubber quality is given to the outer layer of the Hozuki’s membrane. Anything that hits the membrane physically will bounce force the membrane to sink in slightly and then depending on the weight of the object will ricochet backwards (maximum 10 meters). While This technique is active no other Hozuki techniques may be used, or changed (meaning no membrane rank switching).
Restrictions: Hozuki Bloodlimit. Atsui Usumaku (Transitional Membrane) C rank.

Name: Jellyroll (Tiaohoz)

Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Handseals:
Description: The user first performs the two hand signs, before holding their hand out. Then, five rolls of jelly in the form of stick buns are formed. They no not stick to Hozuki members, but when throw at everything else, they explode into sticky goo. The sticky goo doesn't hinder movement too much, and they are just annoying, but the main point is to throw it at the face, where, if it gets into the eyes, it singes more than getting soap in your eyes or pouring sand into your eyes. As an added touch, the buns are nice and sweet, almost like a real super-sticky sticky bun.
Restrictions: Hozuki Bloodlimit.

Name: Kukunai (Skin Kill Jelly)
Rank: A
Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Handseals: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Dragon, Dog, Horse, Hare, Ox.
Description: A star jutsu of the Hozuki, the Hozuki member performs hand signs, before concentrating chakra into a body part and charging up every molecule, releasing a 5 meters diameter mist at the opponent that moves at D rank ninja running speed until it hits something solid and engulfs it. This mist, when making contact with a dry object, such as skin and cloth, would cause damage at the microscopic level. To the beholder, it would seem like the mist was eating their clothes, equipment, and skin like the mist was some kind of acid vapor. The drawback is that it only affects dry things. The mist itself doesn't actually make things wet, but when something is or gets wet the mist stops affecting it. Everything in the mist is affects, even allies. When things get wet, they become immune to the mist.

Description: The Hozuki are capable of reforming their body, so that it is nothing but a puddle of water and back to it's original state. By pumping chakra through their entire body they split what holds the water in their body in place, untill they're nothing but a puddle of water. Whilst in this form -- on land and in water -- one can only move, or crawl, at running speed. Process can be extremely slow at first, leaving one vulnerable for attack. As lone puddles of water, they are extremely vulnerable to heat and cold

Description: The Hozuki are capable of reforming their body, changing it's shape and even colour -- if desired. By pumping chakra into their body, compressing and de-compressing certain parts, an Hozuki would be able to alter the way they look. This can not only be done by changing their facial structure, but their entire appearance -- including how tall, slim or muscular they appear. This alteration in body will stay the same unless the user changes it back. The process is extremely slow and takes five minutes to complete. Only one's appearance will be altered. Their strenght, at any aspect, will stay the same.

Description: Like using the Kirigakure no Jutsu, spreading an immensely dense fog around the entire area, the user of this jutsu infuses the tiniest bits of water out of their own body into the mist droplets. With the tiny parts of their own water and chakra in the air, the user will be able to tell where obstacles are and how they are roughly shaped within an area up to twenty-five meter radius. This mist cannot be blown away with any kind of Wind Jutsu. The user can only feel where objects are. Unless moving, beings cannot be told apart from surroundings. Readings are inaccurate if the user of this jutsu moves from their spot. Takes up ten slots per ten diameter radius.

Description: With their chakra infused in the mist, the user is capable of concentrating the mist and chakra around small items and let them be carried through the sky by a concentrated bit of mist. Objects up to kunai, needles and shuriken can be lifted instantaneously. It takes one turn for objects weighing up to a small sword can be lifted and swung about. Though capable of dealing damage by cutting or piercing, the weapons are not held firmly enough to be able to withstand a clash of weapons and could simply be deflected without any effort.

Description: Having their nucleus as most vulnerable spot, a Hozuki always has to be wary and protect it at every cost. With this jutsu, the Hozuki are able to protect their nucleus against various outside forces. These effects stack and are always active once learned. When learning the C-ranked version of this jutsu, the Hozuki’s nucleus shrinks until it’s only four square inch in diameter. When the B-ranked version is learned, the Hozuki’s nucleus gets a membrane capable of withstanding up to C-ranked blows. When the A-ranked version of this jutsu is learned, the Hozuki’s nucleus will be able to withstand acids.

Description: As the Hozuki evolved, they also acquired the skill to change the properties the water inside their bodies has. Depending on the rank they know this skill, they are capable of giving their water different properties. The user's water will remain in whatever state the user activated last. Regardless of what state they’re in, their palms and soles always maintain a layer of normal water. The Hozuki members are immune to their own water's effects.
o At D-rank, they can change the water in their body into a thick, mushy substance. All water jutsu done with the user’s own body when this rank is activated will turn the jutsu’s water mushy. This is enough to slow movement down slightly, latching on to people and weighing them down.
o At C-rank, they can change the water in their body into a slippery substance. All water jutsu done with the user’s own body when this rank is activated will turn the jutsu’s water slippery. This is enough to make people lose their footing and grip on weapons.
o At B-rank, they can change the water in their body into a sticky substance. All water jutsu done with the user’s own body when this rank is activated will turn the jutsu’s water sticky. This is enough to tie objects to each other, and people to the ground and their own equipment.
o At A-rank, they can change the water in their body into a numbing substance. All water jutsu done with the user’s own body when this rank is activated will make the jutsu’s water numb and paralyze body parts. This is enough to render the affected area unable to move for up to two seconds after the water has stopped making contact with it.
o At S-rank, they can change the water in their body into an acidic substance. All water jutsu done with the user’s own body when this rank is activated will turn the jutsu’s water acidic. This is enough to burn through cloth and skin in one, wood and limbs in five, and rock and bone in ten turns if not removed.

Description: One of the Hozuki’s greatest advantages comes from their very essence, their viscous jelly substance able to instantly provide the user with a limited yet versatile source of suiton. In this case, the user is able to mold chakra on the same path that’s used to keep their appendages in place, allowing an extra amount of chakra to constantly cover their feet. This chakra allows the user to essentially slide or ‘surf’ across the ground at steady speeds for as long as the user’s chakra network can sustain. Because the water provided comes from the user's jelly, they can ride on any form of surface inclined or flat, as long as they have the chakra and said areas do not pose threats to the Hozuki's life - i.e. fire, thunder, etc. A telltale glassy streak is left behind, a smear of jelly revealing the traveling Hozuki’s next destination. An excellent and natural way of moving around and about for all jelly folk!

Description: A product of time, experience and mastery over their own bodies, membranes and powers, the Hozuki have developed a way to morph their bodies into a sudden watery essence, allowing once threatening solidified attacks to easily be avoided by essentially moving across them effortlessly whilst in their watery forms. If, say, a solid blunt object like a hammer or even a giant rock came their way, the Hozuki will merely turn into water and let the objects seemingly move right through them, reforming right after the danger is cleared somewhere safe. Excellent when faced with overwhelming physical dangers, or many weapon toting opponents. Can only reform around attacks if the opponent is of equal difficulty rank or lower. If the user's difficulty rank is lower than the opponent, the attack and subsequent attempt to reform will fail and most likely will kill the user. Reforming does not guarantee the user is immune to whatever side-effects the attack they dodge can bring; for example, dodging katon will still get your burned with extra damage, etc. By default, this can only be performed done once per turn and once per day. Each rank the user is above ‘D’ allows them one additionally attempt per turn. ‘B’ ranked re-training allows the user to increase the amount of times per day this can be performed and is known by one each time.
Restrictions: Hozuki. Must have ‘A” ranked Kaishin Shimasu (Regeneration); ‘A” ranked Suibotsu (Submerge); Membrane Combination (Usumaku Kumiwaseru).

Description: An advanced technique of the Hozuki and prelude to several of its masteries, this jutsu allows the user to create a moving puddle bellow their feet, forming a perfect, flattened circle that covers the ground on which the Hozuki stands on this. With this, they can move across terrains otherwise deemed unstanble or harmful to walk on, and can even prevent the creation of Doton from piercing the sphere.

Description: ‘The Mist’ is nicknamed after a traditional campfire horror story involving the sudden appearance of a most ominous mist, and the subsequent hellish apparitions that came forth from it. However, the ‘mist’ title is more of a laymen term and less of a truism. By appearance, one can judge the Hozuki’s ability to suddenly expel an exhilarating amount of enveloping and rapid moving foam a technique of the ‘mist’, but it is in fact the Hozuki’s jelly essence displaced in a gigantic, quick fashion. Though consuming a great amount of their essence, it allows them to create a dense state of moving liquid all around them, the jelly interacting with everything that physically moves within that area, and even within several meters underground. With such density in place, movement speed for all is severely reduced, and because of the sentient, loose nature of the jelly, it reacts to chakra on a rapid level, sending messages almost instantly to its owner as to where the energy was displaced and where enemies may be. While it appears that the Hozuki has simply produced a bunch of water, these jelly particles are still indeed interwoven, part of the reason it forces all users to move slow and lets the Hozuki feel the location of foreign chakra interacting with their own. A bonus of the mist is that while the clan member is forced to gear down to their weakest form of Transitional Membrane, they momentarily become ‘one’ with their displaced jelly. As they move through the mist, they do not regenerate their lost essence (meaning no slots gained!), but they can still reform with that jelly temporarily, meaning their movement across the jelly field is doubled naturally from whatever their normal capacity is. This leads to increased mobility, as this oneness achieved with the jelly makes their movement swifter, making them appear as if they 'slide' through the water.
Restrictions: Earth Neutralize Puddle Technique.
