History
Like many of the other great clans the Hyuga have been present in the ninja world for some time, gaining renown and standing for there masterful skills and innate bloodline talents. Of course such a singularly powerful clan were opposed to the forming of villages however at the same time for there gifts they were the target of many aggressors seeking there dojutsu they would find themselves unwillingly cornered into agreeing to the founding of a village yet they were not truly bound to any particular village and some even chose to remain in clan’s and even through this great divide as a single clan they were able to remain civil and respectable to one and other even though they were respectively taking sides by picking alternate villages in which to migrate to.

As such the Hyuga earned a fairly respectable and are seen as one of the more honourable of the ninja clans for such facts as for all there inner disagreements of the past and current dividing they still maintained a sense of loyalty and honour to there own clan.

Now many Hyuga reside all across the ninja world with no real ‘capitol’ location in which any large mass of Hyuga are currently settled. While the hidden village of leaf feature the majority of the Hyuga they are also present in both mist and sand villages albeit in lesser quantities.

Dōjutsu: Byakugan - White Eye
The legendary White Eye of the Hyūga Clan, The Byakugan is perhaps the most coveted secret of the entire shinobi world. The power behind it has been said to be the determining factor in any conflict the Hyūga have entered. Because of this dojutsu, the Hyūga are able to demand a premium for their services, but they also have the constant threat of shinobi attempting to steal their power.

Dojutsu drawback – A persisting drawback that is present within all stages of the Hyuga Dojutsu is that of there blind spot. Directly behind the Hyuga positioned directly between there eyes from the back of there head they are quite literally incapable of seeing albeit for there 360 degree vision.

Dōjutsu: Byakugan - Initial Activation
Prerequisites: Hyūga Clan, D-Rank
Rank: D-Rank
Effect: Can see the minuscule chakra circulatory system, allowing for use of Jyuken techniques. With the use of certain hand seals, it also has telescopic, X-ray, and thermal vision. The Byakugan is capable of seeing up to fifty meters in a 360˚radius with one hidden blind spot with virtually instant activation.
In addition the use of the Byakugan of this level enables the user to view there own chakra circulatory systems which in the event of being the target of a Genjutsu will alert them to the fact they have been affected by being able to see it.
Also alongside the defensive and sight length enhancement of the eye the user will also benifet from a reflex and wits bonus equal to 10% of there overall base maximum before anything else is added.
Cost: 100xp

Dōjutsu: Byakugan - Basic Training
Prerequisites: Hyūga Clan, C-Rank
Rank: C-Rank
Effect: Byakugan range is extended to 150 meters. In addition, by this level the user has already accumulated a level of defence against Genjutsu preventing them from suffering the effects of Genjutsu so long as the Byakugan is active.
Also alongside the defensive and sight length enhancement of the eye the user will also benifet from a reflex and wits bonus equal to 20% of there overall base maximum before anything else is added.
Cost: 200xp

Byakugan - Tenketsu Training
Prerequisites: Hyūga Clan, B-Rank
Rank: B-Rank
Effect: The user can now see small objects across long distances as well as Tenketsu at close rangge, range is extended to 500 meters.
Also alongside the defensive and sight length enhancement of the eye the user will also benifet from a reflex and wits bonus equal to 30% of there overall base maximum before anything else is added.
Cost: 300xp

Dōjutsu: Byakugan - Tenketsu Mastery
Prerequisites: Hyūga Clan, A-Rank
Rank: A-Rank
Effect: The user can now see Tenketsu up to the first long range allowing for distance strikes.Range is extended to 1,000 meters.
Also alongside the defensive and sight length enhancement of the eye the user will also benifet from a reflex and wits bonus equal to 50% of there overall base maximum before anything else is added.
Cost: 500xp

Hyūga Sealing Techniques
Hyūga's Cursed Seal

This is a seal used for those that are not in the main branch of the Hyuga Clan, meaning all those that wish to be branch off Hyuga families must feature this on there character.
This is a seal placed on branch members of the Hyuga, namely those that aren’t a part of the royal tree or the main tree of the Hyuga clan. This seal does nothing in terms of reducing a user’s power or inhibiting them in any way however at the will of one from the main branch any other branch Hyuga featuring the cursed seal can be killed at a single instant if the main branch member wishes it.

Jyuken
Drawback:
The global drawback regarding Jyuken is that every strike made carries with it a discharge of the user’s chakra in order to shut down a Tenketsu of the target as well as disrupt their targets chakra. As such a Hyuga with the Tenketsu mastered is not capable of afterwidth performing a Taijutsu technique that does not expel chakra in a similar way whether it is intended or not. Namely the user can’t just throw a common punch without it unwillingly becoming a form of Jyuken attack thusly causing every attack made to drain the user’s chakra which scales with rank and mastery of Jyuken. This means that at low ranks the use and learning of Jyuken can be incredibly problematic to ones chakra.

Prerequisites: Hyūga Clan, C/B/A/S-Rank
Rank: C/B/A/S-Rank
Description: Juuken (gentle fist) fighting style. The Hyuga can use their fingers or palms to emit chakra to flow into their opponents body's at a variety of tenketsu points. When the hand draws close enough to make physical contact or if it does make physical contact, the clan member can stop or increase their opponent’s chakra flow in that specific area’s internal chakra coils which spread throughout the body and also wrap around the internal chakra producing organs.
So if the internal coils are attacked, it also damages these internal organs.
Because a ninja can not train their internal body, such damage can be a critical hit for even a highly skilled ninja.
The tenketsu serve as the connectors and exit points for the chakra pathways. So when they are stopped by the Hyuuga clan member, the ninja greatly loses his or her ability to utilize their chakra for jutsu.
Effect: depending on the rank of the ninja using Jyuken will determine how powerful the effects of such a technique will be and are as such listed below.

C-Rank: At this rank the user is only just capable of performing Jyuken, as such although they might be able to see the targets chakra producing organs they will be unable to attack them directly. Each Jyuken hit connecting with its target will lower the targets maximum chakra by 1% for the duration of the fight but will be greatly limited as to the amount of techniques the user is capable of performing using Jyuken.
To perform Jyuken at this level additionally is very chakra intensive as its use has not yet been refined well enough to be efficient.
In terms of chakra control mastery, at this point of the Jyuken mastery the user is capable to control there gates with comparative safety as there level of chakra control has hit its peak allowing the user to use up to the 1st gate with no risk of death as well as a reduced turn-based chakra drain reduction of 10% per turn the user maintains any of the 8 gates after its first turn of use.

B-Rank: A step up from the previous rank the user will be capable of performing Jyuken based techniques at reasonable difficulty while still not being able to attack chakra producing organs directly without the aid of such techniques. Again each strike the user connects will render 1% of the targets maximum chakra un-usable however they at this level are now capable of shutting down a targets body part or limb through disabling the chakra to that area. As a result should the target suffer 20 strikes within the same immediate vicinity e.g across the length of a single arm they will lose all function of that arm for the duration of the fight.
The chakra wastage of Jyuken at this point has been improved although still flawed, it takes less chakra then previously needed to perform Jyuken as it develops to be much more chakra efficient.
In terms of chakra control mastery, at this point of the Jyuken mastery the user is capable to control there gates with comparative safety as there level of chakra control has hit its peak allowing the user to use up to the 2nd gate with no risk of death as well as a reduced turn-based chakra drain reduction of 20% per turn the user maintains any of the 8 gates after its first turn of use.

A-Rank: At this point the user has come from a level of learning into one of almost mastery as the efficiency of Jyken almost reaches its finest costing near minimal chakra to perform.
Each strike landed will still only reduce the targets maximum chakra by 1% per strike however the requirement to completely immobalise a part of a targets body is reduced from 20 landed strikes to 10 within close proximity.
On top of this the user can directly assault the targets chakra producing organs causing critical strikes and docking the target of 30% of there maximum chakra in a single hit.
In terms of chakra control mastery, at this point of the Jyuken mastery the user is capable to control there gates with comparative safety as there level of chakra control has hit its peak allowing the user to use up to the 3th gate with no risk of death as well as a reduced turn-based chakra drain reduction of 30% per turn the user maintains any of the 8 gates after its first turn of use.

S-Rank: Not the biggest change from A-rank, the user can now perform Jyuken efficiently at every strike with next to no drain on there chakra at all. Direct hits on a targets chakra producing organ will dock 50% from there maximum chakra pool.
Additionally landing strikes will remove 2% of the targets maximum chakra pool as well as trigger internal damage and bleeding causing every 2 strikes to trigger laceration status effect on an internal level.
Finally in addition to the above the user only now requires 5 strikes within quick succession within close proximity to shut down that portion of the targets body.
In terms of chakra control mastery, at this point of the Jyuken mastery the user is capable to control there gates with comparative safety as there level of chakra control has hit its peak allowing the user to use up to the 5th gate with no risk of death as well as a reduced turn-based chakra drain reduction of 50% per turn the user maintains any of the 8 gates after its first turn of use.

Cost: 200/300/500/700 *must be purchased in order of rank and cannot exceed your current rank.

Hyuga Clan Jyuken Techniques
All Hyuga Clan Techniques require the user to be a Taijutsu specialist to perform.

Hakke Hasangeki - Eight Divination Signs Destructive Mountain Fist
Prerequisites: Hyūga Clan, C/B/A/S-Rank, Jyuken
Type: Taijutsu
Rank: C/B/A/S-Rank
Effect: Hakke Hasangeki is a Taijutsu technique utilized by the Hyuga to add extreme force to a single strike. Extending chakra from there body, the user will thrust his/her palm into their target in an uncharacteristic fashion.
This will send out a wave of chakra that will knock his opponent backwards with excessive force that will cause even more damage upon landing as the actual force wave from the technique will continue to travel after the target has been thrown backward causing a secondary hit once the target has finished being knocked back. This technique will also cause damage to the tenketsu of the target it hits causing it to knock out a percentage of the user’s current chakra based on rank.

The force and chakra disrupting effects of this technique are based on rank:
C = 2%, B = 4%, A = 6%, S = 10%. The target receives additional damage equal to C = 10%, B = 20%, A = 30%, S = 50%
Due to the uncharacteristically forceful motion of this technique it also comes with a fairly high chakra usage cost.
Cost: 60/80/100/150

Hakke Kuushou - Eight Divination Signs Air Palm
Prerequisites: Hyūga Clan, C/B/A/S-Rank, Jyuken
Type: Taijutsu
Rank: C/B/A/S-Rank
Effect: Hakke Kuushou is a ranged Taijutsu technique utilized by the Hyuga. Extending chakra from their body, the user will thrust his/her palm at their target. This will send out an invisible wave of chakra that can knock their opponent back from range with decent force.
This technique will also cause damage to the tenketsu of the target it hits causing it to knock out a percentage of the user’s current chakra based on rank, because of this factor this technique is capable of essentially performing Jyuken at a medium to long distance range and is generally designed for sniping vital points.

The chakra disrupting effects of this technique are based on rank:
C = 2%, B = 4%, A = 6%, S = 10%
Unlike the advanced form of this technique the actual point of impact is fairly small although the knockback radius is deceivingly larger.

The amount of chakra this technique consumes is greatly increased with additional distance between the user and their target.
Cost: 60/80/100/150

Hakke Kuuhekishou - Eight Divination Signs Air Wall Palm
Prerequisites: Hyūga Clan, B/A/S-Rank, Jyuken
Type: Taijutsu
Rank: B/A/S-Rank
Effect: Similar to the Hakke Kuushou this technique is a more powerful version with a greater sized point of impact. As such if this technique lands it is capable of wiping out entire sections of a targets body in a single blow upon contact essentially causing paralysis in the area of impact.

B = 5%, A = 10%, S = 20%

Unlike the Hakke Kuushou however this technique requires double the amount of chakra to use and its cost is greatly increased along with the distance it has to travel to its target.
Cost: 80/100/150

Hakke Rokujuuyonshou - Eight Divination Signs, Sixty-Four Palms of the Hand
Prerequisites: Hyūga Clan, C/B/A/S-Rank, Jyuken
Type: Taijutsu
Rank: C/B/A/S-Rank
Effect: Hakke Rokujuuyonshou is a Taijutsu technique unique to the Hyuga bloodline. Hakke Rokujuuyonshou is a special technique passed down through the main family line. When an opponent is within the clan members divination field of attack, they can quickly begin their assault. The technique allows the clan member to use the Byakugan eye to see the inner chakra coils system. Using the Jyuken style, they can force their chakra through their hands into the tenketsu of the opponent's body through 64 strikes. First the clan member will strike 2 times, then 4, 8, 16, 32 and finally the last 32.
This damage forcibly closes 64 tenketsu, stopping the chakra flow of the opponent. This then limits their opponents ability to use jutsu reducing there effectiveness by 64% for 5 turns after they have been struck by this technique. After the first hit of this technique has been landed the target is unable to evade or escape the following 63 hits while the user may end the technique early to conserve chakra.

In addition to this the user will lose chakra hit for hit equal to half that represented in the Jyuken style which for this technique equals out at 32% of there total chakra in a single technique.

In addition to this the down time before the targets chakra based techniques return to full capacity is determined by rank, each improvement of rank extend this cool down by an additional single turn totalling out at C = 5, B = 6, A = 7, S = 8
Cost: 60/80/100/150

Shugo Hakke Rokujuuyonshou - Guardian Eight Divination Signs, Sixty-Four Palms of the Hand
Prerequisites: Hyūga Clan, B/A/S-Rank, Jyuken
Type: Taijutsu
Rank: B/A/S-Rank
Effect: This technique is derived form the Kaiten defensive technique however instead of spinning rapidly while expelling chakra from the user’s body to form a reflective barrier this technique instead forms a much more absolute defense that focus’s more on returning and completely annihilating the attacking force in place of redirecting and deflecting it.

The defensive power of this technique is equal to its rank, capable of completely nullifying techniques of equal rank as it requires more setup then Kaiten to perform as it for the entire duration the user cannot leave or move from the spit, using only there arms to perform the technique else risk its complete collapse.

If the user catches an opponent within its confines however, or if the attack is one of a Taijutsu technique the user can spend more of there own physical chakra to enhance the over all sharpness of the chakra strands used to form the spherical grid barrier and not only just defend against incoming attacks but return damage equal to a percentage based on rank.
B = 30%, A = 50%, S = 70%
Cost: 80/100/150

Hakke Hyakunijuuhachishou - Eight Divination Signs, One-Hundred and Twenty-Eight Palms of the Hand
Prerequisites: Hyūga Clan, A/S-Rank, Jyuken
Rank: A/S-Rank
Effect: Hakke Hyakunijuuhachishou is a Taijutsu technique unique to the Hyuga bloodline. Hakke Hyakunijuuhachishou is a variation of Hakke Rokujuuyonshou, a technique passed down through the main family line. When an opponent is within the clan members divination field of attack, they can quickly begin their assault. The technique allows the clan member to use the Byakugan eye to make nearly double the normal 64 strikes, striking 128 times against their individual foe or opponents. First the clan member will strike 2 times, then 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 and finally the last 64 times.
This damage forcibly closes 128 tenketsu, stopping the chakra flow of the opponent. This then limits their opponents ability to use jutsu reducing there effectiveness capping at 100% for 5 turns after they have been struck by this technique. After the first hit of this technique has been landed the target is unable to evade or escape the following 127 hits while the user may end the technique early to conserve chakra.

In addition to this the user will lose chakra hit for hit equal to half that represented in the Jyuken style which for this technique equals out at 64% of there total chakra in a single technique in addition to the immense physical damage sustained.

In addition to this the down time before the targets chakra based techniques return to full capacity is determined by rank, each improvement of rank extend this cool down by an additional single turn totalling out at A = 9, S = 10
Cost: 100/150

Hakkeshou Kaiten - Eight Divination Palms of the Hand, Heavenly Spin
Prerequisites: Hyūga Clan, B/A/S-Rank, Jyuken
Type: Taijutsu
Rank: B/A/S-Rank
Effect: Hakkeshou Kaiten is a Taijutsu technique unique to the Hyuga bloodline using the Jyuken. Kaiten is a special technique passed down through the main family line. Kaiten takes advantage of several of the unique abilities of the Byakugan eye. Byakugan gives the clan member an almost complete 360 degree view of their surroundings. This allows the member to see all angles of attack.

If an attack is near, the clan member can release a large of amount of chakra from their tenketsu. The member then begins to spin like a top, creating a whirling vortex that can nullify almost any attack of equal rank unless they are penetrating attacks especially designed to break through defenses.
In addition this technique is capable of repelling and redirecting projectiles with ease.
This technique costs the user 10% of there maximum chakra’s value to perform as it is a very chakra heavy technique.
Cost: 80/100/150

Juuho Soushiken - Gentle Step Twin Lion Fist
Prerequisites: Hyūga Clan, B/A/S-Rank, Jyuken
Type: Taijutsu
Rank: B/A/S-Rank
Effect: Juuho Soushiken is a Taijutsu technique utilized by the Hyuga.
After gathering chakra to their fists, the user will skillfully spin and juke towards their target avoiding attack before striking them.
Spectral lion heads will then form around their fists which will protect the user’s hands from damage while the technique takes place. In edition the teeth of the spectral tiger heads will feature penetrating cutting power sharper then any blade while the mass of the tiger heads themselves when struck into an enemy will create a chakra deadzone within the targets body disabling 25% of the user’s chakra per fist landed while applying the laceration effect on the users physical body from the teeth.

Due to the advanced nature of this technique its chakra cost is determined by the rank of the technique used. B = 200% Chakra cost, A = 150% Chakra cost, S = 100% regular chakra cost.
Cost: 80/100/150

Juukenpou Ichigekishin - Gentle Fist Art One Attack Body
Prerequisites: Hyūga Clan, A/S-Rank, Jyuken
Type: Taijutsu
Rank: A/S-Rank
Effect: Juukenpou Ichigekishin is a Taijutsu technique used by Hyuga as an explosive defensive and offensive technique. For this technique the user unleashes a powerful eruption of chakra from there own Tenketsu capable of sending out a large destructive blast wave from themselves to knock back and eviscerate items, objects, terrain and people that close in around them or get too close.

This technique can instantly free them from being devoured by puppetry traps, remove sealing scrolls from locking them down and remove people from there immediate vicinity.

Because of the sheer force of the technique those within a 10 meter radius of the target along with any objects will be struck with an incineratingly powerful burst of chakra as though someone had literally opened there gates and let raw chakra flare from there being. As such things caught within 10 meters of the user at the point of release will receive excessive damage as the users chakra not only hits them, cuts them and burns them but also infiltrates there body immediately locking out 50% of there maximum chakra and reducing there chakra related technique effectiveness by an equal amount.

This technique is often an unwilling release as the chakra cost for such a blast is incredibly high but is able to be reduced with skill. B ranks use this skill at a 50% deduction from there maximum chakra while S ranks may use the technique for 25%.
Cost: 100/150

Hakke < > - Eight Divination Signs, Two-Hundred and Fifty Six Palms of the Hand
Prerequisites: Hyūga Clan, A/S-Rank, Jyuken
Type: Taijutsu
Rank: S/L-Rank
Effect: Hakke <> is a Taijutsu technique unique to the Hyuga bloodline. Hakke <> is a variation of Hakke Rokujuuyonshou, a technique passed down through the main family line. When an opponent is within the clan members divination field of attack, they can quickly begin their assault. The technique allows the clan member to use the Byakugan eye to make nearly double the normal 128 strikes, striking 256 times against their individual foe or opponents. First the clan member will strike 2 times, then 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, and finally another 128 times.
This damage forcibly closes tenketsu, stopping the chakra flow of the opponent. This then limits their opponents ability to use jutsu reducing there effectiveness capping at 100% for indefinitely after they have been struck by this technique essentially removing them completely from the fight.
After the first hit of this technique has been landed the target is unable to evade or escape the following 256 hits while the user may end the technique early to conserve chakra.

In addition to this the user will lose chakra hit for hit equal to half that represented in the Jyuken style which for this technique capping out at 100% of there total chakra in a single technique in addition to the immense physical damage sustained.

In addition to this the down time before the targets chakra based techniques return to full capacity is determined by rank, each improvement of rank extend this cool down by an additional single turn totalling out at S Rank = 15 / L Rank = 20

In addition because of the sheer weight of the technique the chakra cost is also determined by rank. A B rank will spend 50% of there maximum chakra cost in order to perform this technique while an L Rank will only spend 25%.
Cost: 150/200

Hakke < > - Eight Divination Signs, Three-Hundred and Sixty One Palms of the Hand
Prerequisites: Hyūga Clan, S-Rank, Jyuken
Type: Taijutsu
Rank: L-Rank
Effect: Hakke <> is a Taijutsu technique unique to the Hyuga bloodline. Hakke <>is a variation of Hakke Rokujuuyonshou, a technique passed down through the main family line. When an opponent is within the clan members divination field of attack, they can quickly begin their assault. The technique allows the clan member to use the Byakugan eye to make nearly triple the normal 126 strikes, striking 361 times against their individual foe or opponents. First the clan member will strike 2 times, then 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 and finally 361 times.
This damage forcibly closes tenketsu, stopping the chakra flow of the opponent. This then limits their opponents ability to use jutsu reducing there effectiveness capping at 100% for indefinitely after they have been struck by this technique essentially removing them completely from the fight.
After the first hit of this technique has been landed the target is unable to evade or escape the following 360 hits while the user may end the technique early to conserve chakra.

In addition to this the user will lose chakra hit for hit equal to half that represented in the Jyuken style which for this technique capping out at 100% of there total chakra in a single technique in addition to the immense physical damage sustained.

As a result of this attack the user will suffer the closure of every tenketsu in there body that will result at an instant death as the chakra and life force flow through there entire body is cut off ending them from this world in a single assault.

In addition because of the sheer weight of the technique the chakra cost is also determined by rank. A L-rank will spend 90% of there maximum chakra in order to perform this technique.
Cost: 200

Eight Gates Assault
Prerequisites: Hyūga Clan, S-Rank, Jyuken
Type: Taijutsu
Rank: S/L-Rank
Effect: This is a harsh technique designed to kill and maim an opponent. The user targets the 8 major gates of the targets body and viciously unlocks them without remorse through a series of decisive blows usually in the form of a rapid combination, unlocking them against the will of the opponent merely to sit and watch the raw release of the persons chakra pour from there body leaving nothing left but a mere husk of a person.

The gates that can be forcibly opened by the user is determined by the rank of the user. While an S-Rank can only open 6 of the 8 gates by force an L-Rank has the capability to forcefully open all 8 of the gates.

After the gates have been forcefully opened unless the target has access to the 8 gates and owns them they will be unable to close them.

Unless the target has access to the 8 gates and is capable of making use and controlling the overwhelming amounts of physical chakra overcoming there body they will be stuck paralyzed by the sheer force of there own raw chakra pouring from there body until the exhaust it.

After having the gates opened the target will be subject to the same negative ailments that any user would be subjected to upon opening gates equal to those that were forced.

The target must be struck twice in order to open a single gate, meaning that the user must strike the target double the times the intended amount of gates they wish to open.

Cost: 150/200

Jyuuitachi – Gentle Blade
Prerequisites: Hyūga Clan, B-Rank, Jyuken
Type: Taijutsu
Rank: B-Rank
Effect: This technique is a means of adapting the regular usage of Jyuken for a more multi-purpose less internal means. As opposed to targeting the internal sections of the targets body, chakra producing organs and such it instead solidifies the once invisible chakra used in Jyuken into a more physical element which is used to perforate anything it comes into contact to, basically forming an incredibly sharp blade like cutting and puncturing edge to their chakra spikes.

This technique is to be combined with Jyuken and any Jyuken techniques and replaces the internal effect with one of a physical cutting and puncturing one. This causes all techniques to be penetrating and cause the target to suffer laceration for each strike successfully struck at the cost of double the usual chakra cost of a technique unless that technique’s chakra cost is percentile.
